The digital Thumbs Up system has been designed to work in conjunction with the Safety Shield system. When you want to approach a machine, give a thumbs up gesture from a safe distance to the plant operator. By doing this, you are effectively asking permission to enter their work zone.
The operator will bring the machine to a controlled stop and activate the digital Thumbs Up signal LED display fitted to the front of the machine by using the marked button inside his cab. When the digital Thumbs Up sign is activated the LED light goes from red to green, there will also be an audible instruction allowing you to safely approach the machine.
