Joe embarked on his career in the Telehandler industry immediately after completing his A-Levels, joining Merlo UK as a Sales Coordinator in 2006. Demonstrating exceptional aptitude for sales and business development, he advanced swiftly through the ranks to Regional Sales Manager and then National Sales Manager in 2014. During this period, he also completed a distinction-level MBA at Imperial College Business School, further strengthening his strategic and leadership capabilities.
Following a successful two-year tenure as UK Sales Manager for a specialist telehandler rental company, Joe joined GT Lifting in 2018 as Sales Manager. He progressed to Director & General Manager in 2021 and was appointed Managing Director of GT Lifting Solutions in 2023.
Joe is driven by a clear vision: to position GT Lifting Solutions as Europe’s leading specialist in ROTO and heavy-lift telehandler hire and sales. His leadership philosophy centers on assembling and empowering a team of dedicated industry professionals who align with his commitment to excellence, innovation, and ambitious growth.
When he’s not steering GT Lifting to success, you’ll find Joe dedicated to powerlifting—and making sure he eats seven times a day, much to the amusement of his colleagues!
